Family Visit - Part 2

An innovative elephant made of broken toys!
(The Please Touch Me Museum, Philadelphia, PA)

While we were visiting family back east, we (PopPop, Grammy Rene, Granny Martha, Robert, Leo, and I) spent the day at the Please Touch Me Museum in Philadelphia, a wonderful place for kids and adults alike! Children lead adults as they take on roles and explore a variety of interactive environments that replicate parts of society.

Leo did everything from drive a city bus, repair a car, play the piano, fill a grocery cart at Shop Rite , make it rain, work at a hospital, explore a farm, and engage in the imaginary world of Alice in Wonderland! We all had a fabulous time helping him discover new things and understand how they work. If you're ever in Philly with a child under 6, I highly recommend this museum (not to mention it's housed in a beautiful building). Enjoy the film and photos!

This video captures Leo filling his grocery cart at the make-believe Shop Rite at the museum. Shopping mayhem, but what a good shopper!

We started off the day right with a big welcome from the Philly Phanatic!

Paging Dr. Leo!

Get me out of here, PopPop. I'm not ready to perform surgery just yet! I just liked the scrubs...

Hey PopPop, Wonderland is fun! It's made just for me :)

No rest for the weary, only the adorable. Oh, Leo.
