Leo stays nice and bundled up at our local Farmer's MarketI'm stunned that it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted. Trust me, it's not because Leo has been any less cute :) Just got lost in the hustle and bustle of the pre-holiday craziness. Some quick highlights of what's been happening: We took Leo to see the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes in San Jose and he did great! His first real live performance :) This weekend I bought him a step-stool, and he is thrilled with the increased autonomy it gives him when washing his hands and brushing his teeth. He has also recently discovered that if you hold a block up to your ear you can hear something (the seashell effect) and he is amused by this. Lately, when I put him to sleep we sing The Wheels on the Bus, usually focusing on various animals (and occasionally ghosts and santas) on the bus and the sounds they make. I say "we" because Leo likes to make the sound first, as a cue to what animal I should sing is on the bus. He always stays a verse ahead of me, and then joins in when he's sure Mommy knows what to do. It's adorable. I've had so much fun shopping for his Xmas presents I can't wait to see his face when he sees all of them beneath the tree. Does he know that his little face and fingers tearing through the wrap hold an ocean of joy for us? Some photo highlights of what Leo's been up to below :)
