Last weekend we enjoyed a fun trip to the Oakland Zoo. I love the odd looking animals, like long-necked giraffes and huge elephants. I'm reminded of all that exists outside of myself and I'm mesmerized by the variety that exists in nature. Leo was in great spirits the whole way through until the merry-go-round. He always cries on the merry-go-round, oh well. Otherwise, a much-needed joyful and relaxing day :)
