Thanks to our good friend, Linda, Leo has a wonderful new chair to have fun in! His own Archie Bunker chair that no one can sit in except for him. And he is thoroughly enjoying it - thanks Linda! He also loves his musical elephant from PopPop and Grammy :)
We've been getting more and more used to parenthood and are loving every minute of our time with Leo. He has a wonderful personality. He's had several playdates and today he attended a birthday party for a good friend's 3-year old daughter. He had a great time and seemed fascinated by the other children and what they were doing. We're spending more time walking in parks and playing with toys than we have in years - it's good for the soul :) Leo still is fragile and tentative in certain ways, and especially when encountering new social situations, but at home with us he is relaxed, quick to laughter, a hearty eater, and unendingly curious about objects that open and close, and have lights or sounds. He's gained 2 pounds in the month or so he's been home and is healthy as a clam. He's pretty vocal - making a variety of sounds and not afraid to call out when he wants something - especially food :) I wake up looking forward to see him every single day and love holding his warm little body against mine to let him know he is safe in the world.
