I'm sorry I haven't blogged lately. My mom (Granny Martha) was visiting and enjoying some time with Leo :) So I've got some catching up to do!
Recently, Leo's been having some play dates and he's been doing so well! He is curious and friendly, is good at sharing and is never aggressive, and is an avid learner. This recent play date at the park with Ryan (age 4 and 3/4 as he says) and his brother Erik (18 months) was a real hoot! Leo played in the sandbox, went down the slide, and had a grand ol' time with his friends. It was a joy to watch! Check out more photos below :)
Playdates are awesome. Have you ever checked into meetup.com ? I joined two playdate groups on there and already Lucian has been making some really nice friends. He now sings little songs about them using their names and it's really cute. Sometimes it's hard making friends with other parents. You're kind of making friends so that your kids have other kids to play with, but in the process, you also get to benefit. Having a child really opens so many doors, it's an amazing opportunity for spiritual growth, in my now very humble opinion. :) I hope we get to have a playdate with Leo this summer!
