Dressing up - Philly Style
Leo is at such a wonderful stage right now, absorbing so much information, enthusiastic and playful, and very affectionate. He's taken to squeezing most of his foods, which is unfortunate for many of his strawberries, peaches, and sushi rolls that end up as lumps of mush on the floor. It's a bit frustrating for Mommy and Daddy, too, but, hey, if that's the worst thing Leo does we really can't complain. He's also learned how to shrug his shoulders, put both hands on his cheeks to show surprise, and when he sees an image in a book (like a boy with a choo choo train and a ball) he will run in his room and proudly bring out his very own choo train and ball. It impresses me every time :) Lately, my spatulas and spoons are favorite toys of his, as well as a fire truck, dump truck, and police car set Granny Martha gave Leo.
It's no surprise that Leo is already a little Phillies and Eagles fan and lots of baseball and football games have been on TV at home lately. For good luck, of course, we all put on our team gear.
