Leo's 1st Thanksgiving in America!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating Leo's first Thanksgiving here. It's actually not our first Thanksgiving together, since, last year at this time, we were in Seoul and were able to spend about an hour and a half with Leo and his foster family at the agency. At night, Robert and I explored the Namdaemun Market, ate Korean street food, and enjoyed all of the Christmas lights and decorations that lit up the city at night. Even though it was the last time we would see Leo until late January, we were just elated to have shared that time with him. This year, we were even more thankful to have him here with us, and to be able to enjoy the day and delicious food along with the company of good friends.

It was cold in the morning, so we bundled Leo up in his winter suit before going out to rake some leaves. He spent some time checking himself out in the mirror.

It wouldn't be the same without Leo's favorite cement-mixer.

Leo's first encounter with a pile of leaves :)

Hey, these are pretty fun to play with!

You can't catch me!

One of Leo's favorite things to do is sweep, with the largest broom possible ideally.
What a kid!

Leo shows Mommy his technique.

Later, Rob prepared to carve the turkey for dinner.

Here's another cute turkey :)

Good friends and good wine make the meal complete.

Leo finishes up with some home-made pumpkin pie.
Now that's something to be thankful for!
