Leo has been having a great time celebrating his birthday week with my mom, Granny Martha. The other day we went to the beach and enjoyed an unusually warm and sunny January day by the water. What a treat!
We started out at our favorite seafood restaurant, where Leo had fun with his spaghetti :)
That was delicious, now which way to the beach?
Leo was a little nervous at first...
...but Granny helped him know it was okay :)

It was so nice being on the beach with no one there on such a pretty day. It was well worth the sandy diaper :)
