Train Ride with Santa and Mrs. Claus in Santa Cruz!

Daddy and Leo load up on snacks for the train ride, which departed right beneath the roller coaster. Leo was *somewhat* impressed.

A spirited blue-haired elf greets us as we wait to board.

Mommy & Leo share a smile on the train.

Our jolly conductor and MC.

The train moves through the town of Santa Cruz, where locals wave through windows and from porches, before heading up into the hills a bit.
I loved how fresh the air smelled and how 1950's it all was.

The crowd in our car awaits Santa's arrival.

Leo is as excited as everyone else!

Guess who's here?

Last year, Leo cried and smiled through tears when meeting Santa.
This year, he looked at him and said, "Merry Christmas!"
My baby is becoming quite a little man! :)

He's pretty proud of himself, too!

Leo shows off his first official gift from Santa this year.

Mommy, Leo, and the other passengers wave a final goodbye to St. Nick and Mrs. Claus.

The back of the holiday lights train in Santa Cruz.

Luckily, the Santa Cruz boardwalk arcade is a convenient distraction.
In fact, Leo can't get enough.

Aye, aye, captain!
