Leo's 3 Year Check-Up at the Doctor

Leo enjoys the "ball machine" in the lobby of the doctor's office.

Today Leo went for his 3 year check-up. No crying or screaming as we entered the office, no nervous clinging. Nope. Leo proudly told the doctor, "I'm 3 now!" He answered all of his questions and had a grand ol' time. The only rub was his refusal to jump. But we did get to see our doctor jump like a bunny rabbit for a few seconds in his effort to persuade Leo :) As you can see from the photos, Leo's doctor is truly wonderful :)

Weighing in (with clothes but no shoes) at 30.4 pounds. Leo has moved from the 10% percentile for weight to the 25% percentile. Good eating, Leo!

Measuring 37.25 inches, according to the official ruler (50% percentile).
Does he look like he's bending to you? I think he's even taller!

Our doctor and Leo have fun "blowing out birthday candles."

If only every doctor's visit ended with bubbles and laughter!

See you next year, doc!

  1. Wow! That's one cool doctor! We love our pediatrician also. I recommend her all the time. She is so awesome — she doesn't "look" like a doctor at all! I think it's so important to like your doc. It sure looks like Leo is in very good hands. Also, I'm with you, he's taller, that stinker was bending a little!!!
